Unlimited outfit and tack changes are included (though excessive changes will take away from your shooting time). This package includes 10 edited high-resolution digital images. Pet sessions vary greatly depending on if you are looking for staged/posed photos, candid or action photos, or family photos. Rather than try to cover every possibility here, contact us to discuss your specific needs and we'll put a package together that is tailored to you.

Losing an animal can be like losing a member of your family. If you've made the difficult decision to let your pet or horse go, schedule a session to capture a few final images. These sessions are primarily made up of candid images with a focus on capturing your animal just being themselves vs. staged/posed photos. We're happy to include you and other family members (human or otherwise) in these sessions.
Since the animals we're shooting in these sessions are typically older and/or in poor health, we limit the sessions to around 30 minutes. This package includes 5 edited high-resolution digital images. Additional images (as well as prints, albums, and other print products) can be purchased as add-ons.

15-20 minute session for one horse and up to one person. Additional humans and pets can be added for a fee. Please contact us in advance to discuss adding additional horses. Christmas wreaths are available for these sessions, but they must be requested in advance for sessions happening between January and August. We will have them on hand for "in season" sessions. Session fee includes 2 edited high-resolution digital images. Additional images can be purchased as add-ons.
*$10 discount for 4 or more consecutive sessions scheduled for the same location/visit.

15-20 minute session for one horse. No humans or pets can be added to these photos. We will take conformation photos from both sides, 3/4 shots, and headshots for your use in advertising sale horses or breeding stallions. Horses can be tacked or untacked. Natural light, outdoor photos only, no black backdrops. The session fee includes 4 web-sized digital images (not suitable or released for printing). High-resolution digital images can be purchased as add-ons.

This session was designed as an economical way for kids to get a nice photo with their favorite lesson horse. Photos will be taken outdoors with natural backgrounds. This session includes 1 edited high-resolution digital photo, to be chosen by the photographer. Proofs will not be provided for these sessions, and additional photos will not be available. Requires a minimum of 6 sessions scheduled for the same location/visit.

Same as the Lesson Horse Mini, but black backdrop portraits instead of natural backgrounds. Christmas wreaths can be used in these sessions for no extra charge, but must be requested in advance if the session is between January and August. All other limitations and restrictions apply.

Additional humans or non-equine pets can be added to your mini session photos for $5 per subject. If you would like additional horses in your photos, let's discuss! In most cases, it is far easier (and gives better results) to do composite images in editing vs. putting multiple horses in the photos. This isn't always possible though if you're including people or other pets in the photos. Contact us to walk through your vision for the photos and we'll decide on the best course of action. Pricing will depend on what direction we take.
You are free to have your digital images printed through any printer you choose, but nothing beats the quality of a professional photo lab. We can have your photos printed at virtually any size to best fit your needs. Depending on specific crops, most of our images can be printed to at least 20" on the long side at their full quality and 40" or more at a good to acceptable print quality (the average person is unlikely to notice a difference.
In addition to sizing, there are multiple options available for different paper types, coating types, mounting, etc. The options are truly endless, so contact us for a price list of the most requested options or let me know what you're wanting to do and we'll put together some ideas for you!
Like with normal prints, there are loads of places to order canvases on the cheap, but once you've seen a higher quality, professional printed canvas, you'll definitely notice the difference! The resolution required for canvas prints is lower than what is needed for normal prints, meaning your size options are nearly endless. Contact us for a full list of sizes and pricing.
Want something different for your photos? Slate is a personal favorite for smaller photos that will be displayed on a table or desktop. Wood, metal, or acrylic prints provide fun and unique options for wall art.
Custom Christmas card design is a very common add-on for my Christmas mini sessions, but I also offer flyer design for sale horses and stallion promotion, ad design for show horses, and more. Contact me to discuss your project. Design rates start at $35 for cards and $50 for flyers and ads. I also have access to several professional printing services and can often get your final product to you within 3 or 4 days of design approval for no added rush costs.
